Micro Modular Drive – Powerful and smooth transmission

Shimano’s unique gear shift achieves excellent smoothness. The smooth transfer of power takes place through small, but many teeth, which creates a sense of ease and effortless work. This in combination with the solid body of HAGANE creates very dense contact and no noise.

High-quality metal body, cold-forged

The new HAGANE body of Ocea Jigger is a true metal bumper. It provides protection for internal structures, reduces torsion and deformation, improves the accuracy of the teeth engagement.

S Compact Body – Compact, handy design

The body is designed with a more compact design, which improves the holding sensation and increases the contact area with the palm. This improves operability and reduces fatigue in the fisherman.

200% Powerful handle

The new handle with rounded edges is made by cold forging technology. This achieves hardness 200% greater than that of the old model, eliminates twisting and provides even greater thrust.

X Protect

The new OCEA JIGGER uses the powerful waterproofing system of Shimano · X Protect. Using a water-resistant coil and a special water-repellent lubricant eliminates the entry of water into the drive parts.

Design improvements in the star drag and the mechanical brake

New design for the star-shaped avance, which offers much greater comfort and at the same time prevents the entanglement of the line around it.

The mechanical brake is larger in diameter to make adjustment easier and quicker as needed.

Bigger main gear and special surface treatment

The main gear has an enlarged diameter and is made of an ultra metal alloy. Durability is significantly increased by applying a new special surface treatment. All other parts are made of stainless steel.
