Heading up Shimano’s rear drag spinning reel category as the new decade dawns, the Twin Power Ci4 in 1500, 2500, 3000 and 4000 versions is a worthy replacement for its Aspire predecessors. Ci4 bodies and rotors, A-RC spools plus Tri-Drag bestow these reels with Shimano’s very latest technological advances. The smallest, perfectly suited to all finesse tasks with a spool capacity of 90m/0.25mm, has a 5.2:1 gear ratio identical to the 2500 and 3000 models. The 4000 version retrieves at 4.7:1, and comes with the new shallow spool previously unknown in reels of this size.
